About Dr. M. Razaq
Mohammad Razaq, MD joined the practice in August 2008. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. Prior to joining Heartland Oncology & Hematology he was Assistant Professor of Medicine for the New York Medical College, Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology-Oncology at Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York, NY since 2006.
Dr. Razaq is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology and is an active member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American society of Hematology.
He considers one of his strengths to be his hands on experience in one of New York’s largest training programs. He finds our practice allows physicians to share their expertise and develop a care plan for each patient to deliver superior health outcomes. His emphasis on clinical care, research and education provides exceptional experience and diagnostic skills for his patients.
Recently moving to the Midwest he and his family spend their free time with family and friends, and they enjoy cultural events and travel. His wife is also a physician and they have a seven-year-old son and an infant daughter.
