Dr. Stacey Parker-Brueggemann is the kind of Doctor that you want to have on your side when you receive the most difficult news of your life, that you have cancer. She shows the kind of compassion that every patient needs most of all, and displays her incredible knowledge of Oncology and medicine to tackle the most difficult challenges. Ultimately, the most enduring quality she has, at least from the perspective of those who work with her at Heartland Oncology and Hematology, is the bond that she forms with her patients. She becomes their advocate, as well as their hero.
Dr. Parker-Brueggemann is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. She completed her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Internship and residency at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Parker-Brueggemann also completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Saint Louis University Hospital.
Dr. Parker- Brueggemann joined the staff Heartland Oncology and Hematology in 2014, and quickly became known for her intellect and rather quick wit, often seen making those who work around her smile, almost as large as she does.
Dr. Parker is not just a physician. When not in clinic, she can be found playing with her dogs, and spending time with her husband Chris and son Ben.
