Our Services

1

Oncology Care
Cancer can be one of the darkest roads that anyone can walk down. Our doctors want to be the ones to shine through that darkness. Armed with the best treatment and testing, they can work to formulate the best course of treatment for your cancer type. They can also work patients to do their best to tailor a treatment plan with their lifestyle, so that they can remain active. Throughout a patient’s entire time at Heartland Oncology, our physicians will always be their strongest advocate.

2

Treatment
At Heartland Oncology and Hematology, our patients have access to the best treatments available. In our open infusion area, state of the art medicines such as immunotherapies and chemotherapies are given Monday through Friday. Our nurses are always with you to field any questions and provide the best care possible. They are definitely the heroes of Heartland Oncology, being with you every step of the way to be accessible when you have problems or need clarification, as well to guide you through the process of your treatment including booking your appointments with other providers like Radiation Oncology, and keeping in close contact with your regular family doctor to monitor your progress. At Heartland Oncology, our patients and their journey are our top priority.

3

Financial Assistance Workup
One of the first things that every new cancer patient thinks about is the sheer cost of their care. At Heartland Oncology and Hematology, every new patient meets with our Patient Financial Assistance Coordinator to be worked up for any help that we can find financially. Many patients do not realize how much assistance is out there. If there are funds available through charitable foundations or those specific to your treatments, we will do our best to get you enrolled. Our patients have enough to deal with without the added burden of cost to bring them down further.
